Shruti Haasan in a recent interview shared about her alcohol addiction. After she shared that, she became the subject of trolls and memes. Shruti Haasan was born on 28 January 1986, in Madras. Her father is Legendary Indian actor Kamal Haasan and her mother is Indian actress Sarika Thakur. Shruti Haasan has a younger sister named Akshara Hasan. After completing her degree from St. Andrew’s College, she went to the United States to learn Music from Hollywood Music School in California. She appeared on the big screen for the first time in “Hey Ram” in 2000 which was directed by Kamal Haasan. She has made many Telugu movies as well. In Tamil, she did 3, Poojai, Puli, and Singam 3.

She opened up about her addiction to “Untriggered with Aminjas”. When asked if she parties a lot, she said “I used to before. But I have been sober for 8 years now”. It’s very hard to tolerate people at parties if you are not drinking, she added. After the chat, she had experienced so much of trolls on social media. For that, she has reacted on Twitter. In the post, Shruti wrote “So… Trying to Shame me with articles. Talking about my sobriety isn’t working Guess what God is Kind My life is Good No amount of negative BS before EVERY Release will change That. Ok bye try and find your blessings too”. She also said that Cigarettes are the worst.
