Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned 50 on Wednesday. She celebrated her birthday with her daughter Aaradhya and her mother Vrinda Rai. Aishwarya and her family went to an event at the GSB Seva Mandal in Mumbai.
Besides having a big birthday party, the actor honored her father and gave a huge ₹1 crore through her foundation to help build a new hospital in the city.
The actor from “PS-1” wore a pretty white chikankari outfit. For her makeup, Aishwarya went for a fresh and shiny look with bright lipstick. She left her hair down to match her appearance.
On her 50th birthday, she dressed in white, just like her mother. In the videos taken by photographers in Mumbai, you can see Aishwarya celebrating with her family by cutting a birthday cake at an event.
Aishwarya didn’t have any cake because she was fasting for her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, on Karwa Chauth. She turned shy when the photographers sang her a birthday song.
After cutting the cake at the event, she and her family went to the Siddhivinayak temple to get blessings from Lord Ganesha. After their prayers, they posed for photos with the photographers.
Aishwarya started her acting career in 1997 with the Tamil political drama ‘Iruvar,’ directed by Mani Ratnam. After that, she appeared in several popular Hindi movies like ‘Devdas,’ ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam,’ ‘Mohabbatein,’ ‘Guru,’ ‘Jodhaa Akbar,’ ‘Taal,’ and many others.
Lately, she appeared in director Mani Ratnam’s grand historical drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan – 2,’ which received a huge response from viewers. She also caught everyone’s attention with her stylish appearance at the Paris Fashion Week in 2023.
On her birthday, Shilpa Shetty shared a photo with Aishwarya and wrote, “Happiest birthday! Wishing you more happiness, success, love, and great health, my fellow bunt.”
Anushka Sharma posted a beautiful picture of Aishwarya on Instagram and wrote, “Wishing you love and light always.”
The filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali also wished Aishwarya a happy birthday.
