Bigg Boss Title Winner Arrested in Hyderabad

On Sunday, the grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7 happened in Hyderabad hosted by Nagarjuna. On Dec 17, fans of winner Pallavi Prashant and runner-up Amardeep clashed at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Damage of Amardeep’s car windows video is circulating on social media.

By following these, winner Pallavi Prashanth has been arrested by Telangana’s Hyderabad police for disturbing peace near the Annapurna Studios after the finals on Monday night. The police official announced this on Wednesday.

The police reported that, following Prashanth’s victory announcement, his fans gathered around the studio and damaged the car of the reality show’s runner-up, Amardeep Chowdhary. There was police protection at the studios, but some people still attacked the cars of the contestants. The police separated both groups and they were moved away from the place.

Chandra Shekhar, Sub-Inspector at Jubilee Hills Police Station, mentioned, “Prashanth and his followers are facing charges for gathering unlawfully and causing damage.” He has been taken to Jubilee Hills Police Station for further investigation.

Telangana Police registered suo moto cases on winner Pallavi Prashanth and his fans for disturbing peace under the IPC sections 147, 148, 290, 353, 427, and 149 for Sajjanar’s complaint.

On X page, TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar mentioned that during the Bigg Boss 7 finale, some individuals had attacked buses from Krishnanagar Annapurna Studio in Hyderabad on Sunday night. Six buses were damaged in the course of the attack. A complaint regarding this incident was lodged by RTC officials at Jubilee Hills Police Station. Sajjanar added that the view that engaging in reckless actions in the name of fandom is detrimental to society. He emphasized that attacking RTC buses, which serve to transport people safely to their destinations, constitutes an assault on society. Furthermore, he stated that the management of TSRTC does not overlook such incidents.
