The Walt Disney Company has created an amusement park to attract tourists in China. The park is designed to reflect the characters of the animated movie Zootopia. One of the best examples of world-class theme parks, Disney is developing its park in Shanghai, China.
Zootopia, a Disney animated movie from 2016, became a huge hit in China. Many more fans are there for this movie in China. So the Disney company is involved in this different idea. The story follows Judy Hopps, a rabbit who joins the Zootopia Police Department as a new officer. To uncover a plot, she teams up with a clever fox named Nick Wilde. Together, they solve the case and prove Judy’s skills to Chief Bogo. The movie became one of China’s top-earning foreign-language animated films.
Now, Disney has opened its first Zootopia-themed adventure park, the eighth themed area in Shanghai Disney Resort. In 2018, China’s capital got its first Disney-themed adventure park, later expanded with a Toy Story-themed attraction. As COVID-19 restrictions lifted in 2022, domestic travel in China started picking up again, benefiting places like Shanghai Disney Resort.
The characters are making the crowd happy, and there’s a lot of people around. The park takes the tourists to the world of Zootopia, wondering them with its many cool and advanced features.
