Yesterday, on the day of the new year, an official update was released regarding the combo of Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu after the movie Maamannan in 2023. Vadivelu, who had previously only portrayed comedic characters, took on a serious role in ‘Maamannan.’ Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the film also starred Udhayanidhi Stalin and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles alongside Vadivelu.
Similarly, the scenes of Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil in Maamannan are popular among the audience. ‘Maamannan’ was also shown at the recently concluded International Film Festival in Chennai. Also, Vadivelu received the Best Actor award. Mari Selvaraj had previously mentioned his thoughts on collaborating with Vadivelu again.

Fahadh Faasil has also shown interest in working with Vadivelu once more. Recently, there was an official announcement about Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil teaming up again. The movie, including Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil, will be produced by Super Good Films. It is worth mentioning that this film will be the 98th one for the company. This recent update raises a lot of expectations among the people.
The makers revealed Super Good Films’ ‘Production No. 98’ on New Year’s Evening through a social media post. On X, Super Good Films mentioned, “Super Good Films presents its 98th movie starring Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu.”
Sudheesh Sankar is directing the film, and its crew was introduced through a poster. The combo of Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu is set to entertain audiences with their comedic roles once again.

The yellow-themed poster, representing a road backdrop, hints that the movie might be a comedy or drama centered around a road trip. Sreejith Sarang will handle the film’s editing.
