Flipkart Delivery Agent Behaves Rude To Father, Daughter Posted On X, Company Reacts

A social media user shares her disappointing experience as a Flipkart delivery agent on platform X, formerly Twitter. The Flipkart delivery agent scolded his father for a delay in conveying the OTP for the order he placed. Most of the E-commerce platforms used to get the OTP after the order has been delivered to ensure that the product is given to the correct customers. When the online payment is done before the delivery, this will prevent the product from being delivered to another person.

The X user named Deity (@gharkakabutar) wrote on her post “Dad ordered something from Flipkart and he wasnโ€™t able to find the otp on his phone so the delivery guy got angry at him and said โ€œKuch aata nahi hai toh order kyun karte ho!โ€ Never ordering anything from them again. This is not how you talk to customers.”

In the post, the user said that the delivery agent lashed out at her father for taking time to tell the OTP (one-time Password). The delivery guy got angry at him and said โ€œKuch aata nahi hai toh order kyun karte ho!โ€ (Why order stuff, If you don’t know anything!). Hence she mentioned that she is never going to order anything from the platform again.

The post she published has 170.3K views as of now. Many people are commenting on her post. One user wrote “Being rude to the elderly is the worst thing one can do. Customer or no customer one should have basic respect at least. pagal log.” another user wrote “People have this mentality of demeaning others whenever possible, sad that it happened with uncle too.” other user wrote “Flipkart does so much scam and then don’t give you your money back. So poor customer service. Better to buy from other appliances.”

Flipkart Reaction

After the post went viral, it got Flipkart’s attention. The company responded to the post. In that, they wrote “We take such incidents very seriously and are deeply sorry to hear about the executive’s misconduct. Give us a chance to fix this by sharing your order details via DM to keep your Flipkart account information safe”. However, even after that, the post is getting various comments from users.
