Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new lawsuit filed by a former male employee, Phillip Pines, who alleges that Combs pressured him into engaging in sexual acts, demanded that he cater to so-called “Wild King Nights” of sex and drug use, and subjected him to extreme and demeaning working conditions. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, outlines claims that span Pines’ employment from December 2019 to December 2021.
According to the filing, Pines alleges that Combs orchestrated evenings referred to as Wild King Nights, where the music mogul hosted events involving sex, drugs, and alcohol with guests, including women and other individuals. Pines was allegedly tasked with preparing for these gatherings by setting up rooms with red lights, alcohol, marijuana joints, lubricants, and even “power banger” machines. Pines claims he was also responsible for cleaning up after the events, which included removing bodily stains and evidence of drug use. He says he was instructed to ensure the events remained confidential, including leaving large tips for hotel staff to discourage them from speaking out.
Pines further claims that Combs pressured him into having sex with a female guest at one of these events. He recounts an incident where Combs rubbed his shoulders and encouraged him to engage with the woman. Pines says he reluctantly participated but left the room upset after a brief encounter. Additionally, Pines alleges that Combs tested his loyalty through various means, such as summoning him back to his home after a long workday for trivial tasks, like fetching a remote control.
In another allegation, Pines states that Combs knowingly exposed a celebrity guest to COVID-19 during his 51st birthday party, despite testing positive for the virus himself. When the guest later informed the team of their infection, Pines says he was told to stay silent. Pines also accuses Combs of violent behavior, claiming he witnessed the mogul kicking a guest during an incident in Miami. When Pines mentioned the altercation to Combs’ then-chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, he alleges she warned him not to speak of it again or face consequences.
Combs’ legal team has strongly denied the allegations. In a statement to Variety, they said, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
Pines, who was hired as a senior executive assistant, claims he was misclassified as an exempt employee and instead treated as a personal servant, expected to be available at all hours. He alleges that the grueling demands and the tasks he was forced to perform took a significant toll on him. The lawsuit paints a troubling picture of Pines’ time under Combs’ employment, from preparing for the Wild King Nights to cleaning up after them and deleting incriminating videos from Combs’ devices under threat of termination.
This latest lawsuit adds to the mounting legal troubles for Combs, who is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. He was arrested in September 2024 on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Just last week, two separate lawsuits were filed against Combs by women alleging similar patterns of sexual misconduct.
Neither Kristina Khorram nor attorneys for Pines responded to requests for further comment. As the allegations continue to unfold, this case adds another layer to the ongoing controversies surrounding the music mogul. For now, the judicial process will determine the outcomes of these serious claims.
