Mohan Sai, a 7-year-old boy from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, had a check-up at school last year. They found out he had blood cancer. Now, he is getting treatment in Hyderabad. The doctors told a charity that the boy wanted to be a police officer. So, he is getting treated at the Basavatharagam Cancer Institute in Hyderabad.
In this situation, the people at Basavatharagam Cancer Institute found out that Mohan Sai, the young boy, wanted to be a police officer. They told the police through a private foundation. After that, the Banjara Hills police station agreed to make the boy a police officer one day like a one-day CM, once they got approval from higher authorities.
The charity worked with Banjara Hills police to make the boy’s wish come true. Last Friday, the police made arrangements for the child to be an Inspector for a day.
On that special day, the boy wore a police officer uniform and was warmly welcomed. After that, Mohan Sai sat in the police officer’s seat and was told about how the police station works. Detective Inspector Zakir Hussain from Banjara Hills gave a police salute to Mohan Sai and also received a salute from the little boy.
The officials got gifts for the boy and the boy was very happy as his dream came true. His parents thanked the police, hospital staff, and the charity for making it happen. Then they sent him back to the cancer treatment center.
