Hyderabad, May 23 – The Miss World 2025 pageant, currently underway in Hyderabad, India, has revealed the top 20 finalists for its much-anticipated Head-to-Head Challenge, a segment that celebrates not just beauty, but advocacy, intellect, and global awareness.
The 20 chosen contestants will move forward to the final stage of the challenge, where they will present their causes, opinions, and ideas on pressing global issues ranging from education to mental health.

Africa:
- Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg (South Africa)

These finalists were chosen based on the strength of their advocacy, communication skills, and ability to inspire. Their speeches covered themes such as environmental protection, women’s rights, child welfare, and mental health.
The final round of the Head-to-Head Challenge is set for this weekend, where these 20 contestants will once again present their vision before an international jury.
Julia Morley CBE, Chairwoman of the Miss World Organisation, applauded the participants, stating:

Hosting the global event, Hyderabad showcased not only its rich cultural heritage but also its emerging presence on the world stage.
