Sarojini Naidu

Sarojini Naidu, nicknamed the Nightingale of India, was a famous freedom fighter and politician who played a big part in India’s fight for freedom. She was born on February 13, 1879, in Hyderabad. Sarojini was very talented in poetry, writing, and speaking. She was the eldest of eight children in a family that valued education and the arts.
