Actor Nikhil Siddhartha opened up about becoming a father and how his life has changed in a recent interview. Nikhil Siddhartha and his wife, Dr. Pallavi, welcomed a baby boy. In one interview, the actor talked about his experience as a new father, shared his son’s name, and other details.
Nikhil told the newspaper that even though he is working on many movies right now, he is trying his best to spend time at home with his son and help out his wife. He also shared that he has given up his old ‘bad habits’ because he wants to stay healthy for his son.
“We are calling him Dheera Siddhartha,” Nikhil said, sharing his son’s name. He added, “I am trying to spend time with him every day because kids grow up so fast. I’m doing my best to share responsibilities with Pallavi. I used to go out partying at least once a week, but I have stopped now. As a parent, you want to give up bad habits and stay healthy for your child. If someone had told me 15 years ago that my life would be this good, I would have been less worried and happier.”
Nikhil and Pallavi’s son Dheera was born at a private hospital in Hyderabad on February 21 this year. Nikhil posted a picture on Instagram where he is kissing his son’s forehead. He wrote an emotional note about losing his father, Shyam, last year and how having a baby boy now feels like his father has come back. He said, “Just over a year ago I lost my father and today we welcome a new baby boy into our family. It feels like it’s him back again. Pallavi and I have a cute baby boy and we are very happy.”
Nikhil and Pallavi got married in a small wedding in Hyderabad in 2020. Because of the pandemic, they had a limited number of guests, and the wedding that was supposed to happen in April took place in May. The couple dated for over two years before getting engaged. There were rumors in 2022 that the couple might separate, but Nikhil denied them by posting a picture with Pallavi. He will soon appear in movies like Swayambhu, The India House, and Karthikeya 3.
