With a comforting touch on the heads of Ladli Behna beneficiaries, Chouhan, now replaced by Ujjain (South) MLA Mohan Yadav, told them and the gathered crowd, ” Where am I going? I won’t leave either”. Speaking to the emotional crowd, Chouhan recognized the hard work that got him his position. He promised to stick with the party, saying, “I won’t go to Delhi,” showing his dedication to the BJP’s mission.
His farewell speech, given in a hall filled with images from Chouhan’s campaign, changed from a goodbye to a celebration. When asked about future plans and a possible role in the Lok Sabha elections, he firmly responded, “I will do whatever work the party assigns me”.Chouhan’s legacy, linked with Ladli Behna Yojana, is set to continue under CM-elect Mohan Yadav. Despite uncertainties, Chouhan promised to fulfill his commitment to turn Ladli Behnas into Lakhpati Behnas.

He stated, “I would prefer to die than go and ask for something for myself. I won’t go to Delhi,” expressing his dedication as the outgoing chief minister.
