In Jammu and Kashmir, 4 soldiers died in a surprise attack on army vehicles. Rajouri region is located in the Bir Panchal Valley of Kashmir. Intelligence agencies have received information that there is a lot of movement of terrorists there. Therefore, since last Monday, soldiers have been engaged in an intensive search in this area. Then a fierce gunfight ensued between the terrorists and the army. In this case, last night, terrorists launched a sudden attack on 2 army vehicles.
3 soldiers died on the spot in this horrific attack. 3 soldiers were admitted to the hospital with serious injuries and one more soldier died now. The death toll has increased to 4. This sudden attack is being retaliated by the army. In this regard, the army reported that the day before, at 3:45 pm, two military vehicles transporting soldiers were approaching.
It was mentioned that, at that moment, the terrorists had unexpectedly initiated gunfire. Also stated that their soldiers promptly responded to the attack. Following the incident, it was conveyed that the joint operation against the terrorists had been heightened.
Last month also, there was a heavy clash in this area where there is currently a gunfight. Then 5 soldiers including 2 captains lost their lives. It is to be noted that it is in such an environment that for the second time in a month, there has been a clash between terrorists and security forces.
Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi shared his sadness about the death of four soldiers. In a message of condolence, he said, “I feel deeply saddened by the news of our soldiers losing their lives in a terrible terrorist attack in Rajouri, Jammu, and Kashmir. The country will always remember their great sacrifice in defending India.” Rahul Gandhi also mentioned that in the recent April-May period, there were two major attacks in the Rajouri region alone, resulting in the loss of 10 soldiers’ lives.
The attack started in Anantnag district on September 13 and lasted for 7 days. It is noteworthy that 4 people were killed including three army officers and a senior police officer.
