Genki has announced that Tokyo Xtreme Racer will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on January 23. The game is expected to remain in Early Access for about four months, during which it will provide fans with an exciting sneak peek into the highly anticipated racing experience.
The Early Access version will offer a substantial portion of the game, allowing players to dive into the story up to the halfway point. Key features include the Spirit Point Battle, robust car tuning mechanics, and an extensive lineup of over 200 rival characters, each with their own unique backstories. With 50 playable cars and more than 180 kilometers of meticulously recreated Shuto Expressway, the game promises an adrenaline-pumping ride through the streets of Tokyo. Players will also get to explore a new feature for the franchise—player skill progression—adding depth to the racing experience.
The full release will expand on the Early Access content, introducing additional storylines, more vehicles, rival characters, and improvements based on player feedback throughout the Early Access period.
