Truecaller CEO Alan Mamedi talked about his first meeting with Infosys founder Narayana Murthy. The young CEO admired Murthy’s humble attitude and revealed his childhood dream of working for ‘Infosys.’
In his recent social media update, the co-founder of the caller ID and spam-blocking app mentioned that he first met Narayana Murthy eight years ago. They started talking even though they didn’t know each other. After an hour of chatting as strangers, Alan Mamedi asked Narayana Murthy about his work. In reply, the 76-year-old Infosys founder said, “My wife always told me that because I had luck in life, I must give back, and that’s what I’m doing today. Giving back.”
Impressed by Narayana Murthy’s ideas, Alan described him as an, “incredibly humble person”.Once he realized he was speaking with NR Narayana Murthy, Alan Mamedi revealed a childhood aspiration—he had always wanted to work for Infosys. This desire began when one of the Infosys experts visited his home to repair his computer.
