A man in New Jersey, which is a state situated within both the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States killed and beheaded his 74-year-old mother and was arrested. Around 4 pm Jeffrey Surgent killed his mother Alexandria and made an emergency call to 911 and informed the police that he had killed his mother. Jeffrey used a knife to kill his mother. Also, he frequently apologized to the police for killing his mother and he told the cops that he has bipolar disorder. After the call, when police entered his house, they found Jeffrey lying naked on his mother’s headless body.
Also, the nearby neighbor’s discovery of the incident left them speechless. “I went to go do laundry, and it’s on the second floor, and they had everything marked off and blankets. I was like, ‘Oh My Gosh’, neighbor Janice said to ABC7. She also said that Jeffrey Surgent is a very kind person. “We went to a BBQ, Surgent played with my kids and he was very nice”. Additionally, Jeffry’s family said that Alexandria is a loving caretaker for her family.
The police have collected the CCTV footage in the building where the murder happened to collect information for further investigation. It has been carried out by Cape May Country Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Ocean City Police Department. Also, a GoFundMe page has been raised by Alexandria’s grandson for her funeral.
