New Security Protocols of the Parliament of India 

The security of the Indian Parliament is managed by Police Department of Delhi, paramilitary forces and the Parliament Security Service. Usually Parliament's security was heavily tightened.

But, On 13 December 2023, two people suddenly jumped to the center of the chamber from the visitor's gallery and spread yellow smoke all around and raised serious questions.

This incident makes the members got scared about their security in the Parliament. So , the Parliament security protocols have modified. New security protocols are as follows

1. Visitors gallery to be covered in glass to prevent people from jumping into the chamber.

2. Body scanners to be installed to ensure objects hidden can be detected.

3. A separate gate could be installed for visitors when re-entry is allowed.

4. MPs only to enter and exit through the main gate.

5. Media and staff members will have separate entry points.

6. Movement of assistants of MPs are to be restricted.
