This sculpture is realistically created by famous sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik as an Onion Santa Claus sculpture. This sculpture was completed in 2 days. This sculpture is made with about 2 tons of onions. This sculpture is 100 feet long, 20 feet high and 40 feet wide. It is noteworthy that this sculpture is included in the list of records of India.
Sudarsan Pattnaik said that every Christmas, they aim to craft unique sculptures at Puri’s Blue Flag beach. This year, they created the world’s largest onion and sand installation of Santa Claus, measuring 100 feet in length, 20 feet in height, and 40 feet in width. Two tonnes of onions were used in the creation. He explained that the message conveyed through the installation is to “Gift A Plant, Green The Earth.”
