The situation was baffling. Most gaming companies, including Nintendo, see “Let’s Play” videos as free marketing and rarely take action against such content. While Nintendo has targeted YouTubers in the past, it typically doesn’t go after long-established creators like Neumayer, making these takedowns suspicious from the start.
The DMCA Dilemma
