Board Exams Twice: Chhattisgarh Govt Decides To Hold State Board Exams For Classes 10 And 12 Twice A Year

Board Exams Twice: On Monday, the school education department issued an order about conducting state board exams for classes 10 and 12 twice during the academic year. However, the order did not specify the exact academic year when this decision would take effect, according to officials from the Chhattisgarh government.

The government of Chhattisgarh has decided to change how exams are held for students in classes 10 and 12. They will now have their state board exams twice in one academic session. This means students will take these important exams two times during their school year.

Even though the school education department made this decision official on Monday, they didn’t mention which academic year this new rule would start. This information was shared by officials working for the Chhattisgarh government.

From Which Academic Year?

The school education department issued an order on Monday. However, the order didn’t mention when the decision would be put into action for the academic year. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is responsible for conducting final exams for classes 10 and 12.

According to the order, there will be two phases of final board exams. The first phase will take place in March, and the second phase will be in July. Students who participate in the first phase can also take part in the second round without changing their subjects. However, they must fill out a separate examination form for the second phase.

Additionally, students who fail in all subjects, receive a supplementary, or are absent during the first examination will have the opportunity to appear in the second examination. Similarly, students who want to enhance their grades in all subjects can also take part in the second examination.

The order specifies that students who have passed in all subjects will be allowed to fill out a form for mark improvement in one or more subjects during the second examination. This means that students who wish to boost their grades in specific subjects can do so by participating in the second exam.
