Iran and Many Countries Allow Free Visa Services to Indian Passport Holders, See the list of Countries

Generally, a passport and visa are required to travel from one country to another. But few countries allow free visa services now. In that way, the Iranian government has now issued an announcement.

The West Asian country of Iran is taking various measures to improve the tourism industry and encourage the arrival of tourists. In that way, tourists from 33 countries including India are not required to have a visa to travel to Iran.

So, the upcoming year will become the best opportunity for tourists. Many tourists take full advantage of this policy to travel to the best places without any tension about visa rules and regulations. Not only Iran, but also many countries such as Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Kenya also offer free visa services.

After the recent cabinet meeting, Tourism Minister Ezzatollah Zarghami interacted with the media. He said that various efforts are being made to improve Iran’s tourism sector and encourage the arrival of tourists.

In that way, it has been decided in the cabinet meeting that tourists from 33 countries including India no longer need visas to visit Iran. Recently, countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam have announced that they do not require a visa for travelers to India.

In addition to Thailand, Malaysia, Kenya, Iran, and Sri Lanka, more than 20 other countries also let Indian tourists enter without needing a visa. They are Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, Niue, Vanuatu, Oman, Qatar, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Haiti, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Bhutan, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, Nepal, El Salvador, Mauritius, Senegal, Tunisia, Macao (SAR China), Gabon, Madagascar, Rwanda.

Meanwhile, some more countries let Indians get a visa when they arrive. These include Seychelles, Maldives, Indonesia, Samoa, Tanzania, Marshall Islands, Palau Islands, Tuvalu, Iran, Jordan, St. Lucia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Timor-Leste, Bolivia, Burundi, Cape Verde Islands, Comoro Islands, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Togo, and Zimbabwe.
