Sara and Orry share a close bond, frequently appearing together at dinner parties and embarking on trips. When Karan Johar asked, “Who is Orry? The world wants to know,” Sara offered a playful response, stating, “He is a man of many things, a really funny person.” Ananya Panday chimed in, “I think he is going by – Loved but misunderstood. He is good with captions, so I keep asking him for captions. Not sure what he does. He works on himself.”

Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, is a frequent companion to Bollywood celebrities, including Janhvi Kapoor, Nysa Devgan, and Sara Ali Khan. Recently, his pictures alongside Nita Ambani, Deepika Padukone, and Shubhman Gill at the Jio World Plaza launch went viral. Referred to as “Bollywood’s BFF”, Orry is gaining attention for his bold fashion choices and a growing fan following. However, many are left wondering about his profession and true identity.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Orry is a social activist based in Mumbai and serves as a Special Project Manager at the Reliance Industries Limited Chairperson Office. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Communication Design from the Parsons School of Design in New York. With over four lakh followers on Instagram, his bio reads, “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” Orry consistently updates his fans and followers with photos and videos from movie premieres, vacations, photoshoots, and more.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan India, Mr. Awatramani emphasized his strong work ethic. When questioned about his job, he explained, “I am working on myself. I am going to the gym, I am doing a lot of self-reflection, sometimes I do Yoga, I go for a massage, I am working, but I am working on myself.”
Regarding his diverse roles and talents, Orry shared, “Everyone wants to know this? I’ll tell you exactly what I said in my first job interview to my boss as of today, ‘You know, ma’am, growing up I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer. But what am I today? I’m a singer, a songwriter, a fashion designer, a creative director, a stylist, an executive assistant, a shopper, and sometimes a football player, I don’t know. I feel like life is about having dreams. Inflate your dreams, give them wings to fly, and seize every opportunity.’ I looked her in the eyes and said, ‘I’m the kind of person that if you ask me to paint something for your wall, I’ll paint the entire house.’ And mic drop.”
