Rain Alert! IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall in Certain South Indian States This Week

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a weather forecast for the southern regions, suggesting a high chance of substantial rainfall. According to the agency, a low-pressure system is expected to develop over the Southeast Bay of Bengal by November 14. This system is expected to travel in a west-northwest direction and may become a depression in the Bay of Bengal on November 16.

The IMD’s projections indicate the likelihood of heavy rainfall in the Southeast Peninsular region until November 15. The forecasted weather patterns have raised concerns about potential consequences for the affected areas.

IMD’s Weather Warning for the Upcoming Days

For the next five days, the IMD’s weather warning includes expectations of light to moderate rainfall in most areas of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Furthermore, there’s a chance of thunderstorms on Tuesday that could have an additional impact on the nearby weather conditions.
