Vaibhav-Arushi Wedding Date: In her first interview after her wedding, Arushi Sharma shares details about her love story with husband Vaibhav Vishant and how their parents encouraged them to tie the knot.
Arushi Sharma, known for her role in Love Aaj Kal (2020), recently amazed her fans by revealing her marriage to casting director Vaibhav Vishant on April 18th in Chail, Himachal Pradesh.
During the interview, Sharma talks about her whirlwind wedding and what led to their decision to get married. She discusses how their parents played a role in bringing them together and supporting their relationship.
Arushi Sharma, aged 28, reveals that their wedding wouldn’t have happened if their parents hadn’t insisted. She shares, “My mother said, ‘You are getting married on April 18. I don’t care.” The couple decided to marry just a month before the ceremony.
Within that short time, they managed to plan everything, from the venue to the outfits and jewelry. Sharma describes it as a whirlwind of emotions. She expresses their desire to now embrace the feeling of embarking on this new journey together.
The couple celebrated their wedding over two days with various ceremonies, including mehendi, sangeet, haldi, and a sundowner wedding.
Arushi Sharma explains, “We had a lovely view, and we wanted to make the most of it. I wanted the view to give us a sense of peace and purity.” Their original plan didn’t include inviting 2000 people. Instead, they chose to be surrounded by their closest friends and family members.
The newlywed bride shares their love story, revealing that she first met Vishant before moving to Mumbai. They crossed paths again after the release of Love Aaj Kal.
“We started meeting regularly because of work, auditions, or something,” she explains. Their relationship officially began about two years ago.
When Vishant first confessed his love, Arushi turned him down. “We were friends, and suddenly one day he said ‘I love you’,” she recalls. “At that time, I wasn’t ready for it. I was very confused and took a step back, thinking it wasn’t meant to be. But I couldn’t stay away from him.”
Sharma emphasizes that she’s a private person and is happy that her personal life became public only after her marriage.
“When I came to Mumbai, I didn’t have any friends, and Vaibhav was the first friend I made here,” she recalls. Their friendship was the first step in their relationship and remains the foundation of it today.
The actor blushes as she talks about her husband. She says, “Vaibhav is my home, and finding that in a city like Mumbai is rare. But I found it, and after that, I didn’t want to leave him. I just couldn’t. You can’t leave your home, right?”
Even after the wedding, she feels the same way. “Even when I’m tired, I just feel like smiling. I’m so happy. I just don’t want to leave his side and be with him all the time. There’s no concept of space right now,” she says.
